Data processing via Demodesk

Our employees may use the AI-tool “Demodesk” during online meetings to facilitate the meeting and analyze the results. However, this will only happen if you give us your prior consent.

When impactit uses Demodesk, personal data of meeting participants is processed, specifically

  • Personnel master data
  • Communication data
  • Personal data communicated during online meetings, including image and video streams

The purposes of processing personal data via Demodesk are as follows:

  • Recording, transcription, and AI-assisted summarization of Microsoft-Teams meetings between the sales team and (potential) customers to improve documentation, evaluate sales opportunities, and efficiently implement follow-up steps
  • AI-assisted coaching through AI-generated suggestions for improving conversation techniques based on the Microsoft-Teams meetings

The conversations are analyzed to improve documentation, assess sales opportunities, and ensure the efficient implementation of follow-up steps. Profiling within the meaning of the GDPR is permitted in this context, in part because it relates to whether our (potential) customers will enter into contracts with us.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent, which you may revoke at any time.

The data recipient acting as a data processor is Demodesk GmbH, Isartorplatz 8, 80331, which also engages subprocessors in third countries; however, these subprocessors are either covered by an adequacy decision issued by the European Commission or have entered into EU standard data protection clauses. This ensures a level of data protection that complies with the GDPR.
