{"id":390,"date":"2014-11-13T13:31:33","date_gmt":"2014-11-13T13:31:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/?p=390"},"modified":"2014-11-13T13:31:33","modified_gmt":"2014-11-13T13:31:33","slug":"entering-call-reports-offline","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/en\/2014\/11\/13\/entering-call-reports-offline\/","title":{"rendered":"Entering call reports offline"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As announced in our previous news item &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/en\/2014\/10\/09\/using-portatour-offline\/\">using portatour\u00ae offline<\/a>&#8220;, our\u00a0developers extended portatour\u00ae further and you can now <strong>enter call reports offline<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If you haven&#8217;t done so already, enable offline-mode in the\u00a0portatour\u00ae Anywhere Options: go to Program Settings and set the Internet Connection to &#8220;<strong>Refresh Offline Data<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>In the new version, you will find the buttons &#8220;<strong>Called Now<\/strong>&#8221; and &#8220;<strong>Missed<\/strong>&#8221; on the customer detail page even when you are offline:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-387 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Customer-LastCall.png\" alt=\"Customer-LastCall\" width=\"360\" height=\"178\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Customer-LastCall.png 360w, https:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Customer-LastCall-300x148.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 360px) 100vw, 360px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click these buttons as usual to document\u00a0your calls, including\u00a0writing your call reports. Your\u00a0<strong>changes are locally buffered<\/strong> on your device, indicated by a red line to the left:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-388 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Customer-LastReportOffline.png\" alt=\"Customer-LastReportOffline\" width=\"360\" height=\"151\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Customer-LastReportOffline.png 360w, https:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Customer-LastReportOffline-300x125.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 360px) 100vw, 360px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When your internet connection comes back and you\u00a0change to online-mode, the\u00a0data will be\u00a0<strong>automatically sent to the portatour\u00ae server<\/strong>. You will get a notification\u00a0during and after the upload.<\/p>\n<p><em>Good to know:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>For appointments, the buttons &#8220;Took place&#8221; and &#8220;Missed&#8221; are now also available in offline-mode.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>The changes buffered on your device will remain stored\u00a0even if you restart your device\u00a0or quit your browser. Nevertheless\u00a0we recommend to upload changes timely.\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>In offline-mode, one call report can be recorded per customer. By clicking on the pen-icon, it can be edited anytime before uploading it.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Should there be an error during upload, the respective call report will be shown to you together with the error message. Fix erroneous data and save the report.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Attaching files to call reports is not possible in\u00a0offline-mode.
