It makes the appointment recurring and sets the rules for repetition.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2013-12-06-Serientermin-EN.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-121 aligncenter\" alt=\"2013-12-06 Serientermin EN\" src=\"http:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2013-12-06-Serientermin-EN.png\" width=\"257\" height=\"413\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2013-12-06-Serientermin-EN.png 257w, https:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2013-12-06-Serientermin-EN-186x300.png 186w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 257px) 100vw, 257px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here are<strong> three typical use cases<\/strong> for the new recurring appointments:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Each month every 1<sup>st<\/sup> Friday from 08:00 to 12:00 there is a sales meeting at the company office for all sales reps.<\/li>\n<li>A customer needs to be visited every 2 weeks,\u00a0always on Wednesday. The time is not important (set Schedule to &#8220;Flexible on the day&#8221;).<\/li>\n<li>Each year, a public holiday is on the exact same date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>More details on how recurring appointments work:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Entering a date into the &#8220;Until&#8221; field is optional. If you don&#8217;t set it, the recurring appointment will be repeated until you delete it.<\/li>\n<li>The calendar will only show recurring appointments for the next 12 months due to technical reasons. Don&#8217;t worry \u2013 the appointments will be repeated as configured.<\/li>\n<li>As you may have experienced with other calendar software (Outlook, Smartphone, &#8230;), with portatour\u00ae you can also delete or change single appointments from a series of recurring appointments.
