You now have the option of scheduling appointments flexibly within a week instead of just on a fixed day. In addition, appointments are prioritized depending on their flexibility.<\/p>\n<h2>Appointments flexible in the week<\/h2>\n<p>Are you familiar with this? You have agreed with a customer to visit them in a certain week, but until now you had no way of creating a flexible appointment for the week. Instead, you had to create an appointment at a specific time or an appointment &#8220;flexible on the day&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>You can now create an appointment &#8220;<strong>flexible in the week<\/strong>&#8221; for a customer as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open the customer detail page and click on &#8220;<strong>New appointment<\/strong>&#8220;<\/li>\n<li>At <strong>Schedule<\/strong>, select the option &#8220;<strong>Flexible in the week<\/strong>&#8221; and then the desired calendar week from the list or via the calendar<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Besuchsplanung-Termine-in-Woche-Erstellen-EN.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-11384\" src=\"https:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Besuchsplanung-Termine-in-Woche-Erstellen-EN.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"232\" height=\"340\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Call suggestions and existing appointments can also be converted into appointments flexible in the week:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open the context menu of an entry at calendar or schedule<\/li>\n<li>Click on &#8220;<strong>Convert to appt. flexible in the week<\/strong>&#8220;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Besuchsplanung-Termine-in-Woche-Umwandeln-EN.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-11390\" src=\"https:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Besuchsplanung-Termine-in-Woche-Umwandeln-EN.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"304\" height=\"359\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Appointments flexible in the week will be included in the next schedule calculation within the selected week, taking into account your working hours and customer opening hours.<\/p>\n<p>For better differentiation, appointments flexible in the week and on the day are marked with corresponding symbols.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Besuchsplanung-Termine-in-Woche-und-Tag-Plan-EN.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-11396\" src=\"https:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Besuchsplanung-Termine-in-Woche-und-Tag-Plan-EN.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"236\" height=\"115\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Note: This function is not yet available if portatour\u00ae is connected to Dynamics CRM as the data source system.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Appointments prioritized according to flexibility<\/h2>\n<p>If appointments with different flexibility conflict with each other or not all appointments can be accommodated in the schedule, the following prioritization will apply in future:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>All-\/Multiday<\/strong> appointments<\/li>\n<li><strong>on time<\/strong> planned appointments<\/li>\n<li>Appointments <strong>flexible on the day<\/strong> and appointments <strong>with leeway<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Appointments <strong>flexible in the week<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Reservations and call suggestions are still prioritized lower than appointments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Appointments are crucial when calculating your schedule.
