We have often heard the wish to show different fields per report type, e.g. other fields for a successful customer visit than for a client you missed. As of today, this is possible!<\/p>\n<p>You or your administrator goes to <strong>Options &gt; Custom fields &gt; Reports<\/strong>. There you define\u00a0which group of fields should be shown for which report type.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Feldgruppe-Eigenschaften-EN-neu.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"279\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1091\" src=\"https:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Feldgruppe-Eigenschaften-EN-neu.png\" alt=\"Feldgruppe-Eigenschaften-EN-neu\" \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.portatour.com\/blog\/users\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/Feldgruppe-Eigenschaften-DE-e1470296064380.png\"><br \/>\n<\/a>It is also possible to show a group of fields for multiple report types \u2013 e.g. mileage for the report for start of work and end of work. Just select multiple report types in the selection box (hold the Ctrl-key).<\/p>\n<p><strong>portatour\u00ae differentiates\u00a0between the following report types:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Call<\/strong>: When clicking on &#8220;Called now&#8221; at a customer or\u00a0&#8220;Took place&#8221;\u00a0for a customer appointment<\/li>\n<li><strong>Missed<\/strong>: When clicking on\u00a0&#8220;Missed&#8221; at a customer or customer appointment<\/li>\n<li><strong>Other<\/strong>: For appointments without location (=phone call) or without customer reference, for &#8220;My places&#8221; and when\u00a0clicking on &#8220;New report&#8221; at a customer<\/li>\n<li><strong>Start of work<\/strong>: When clicking on\u00a0&#8220;Clock in&#8221;<\/li>\n<li><strong>End of work<\/strong>: When clicking on\u00a0&#8220;Clock out&#8221;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Day off<\/strong>: When clicking on\u00a0&#8220;Report day off&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While entering the report you can determine its type\u00a0by looking at the window title.<\/p>\n<p><em>Please note:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>The maximum number of custom fields for reports is 100 &#8211; irrespective of the subdivision into report types. The export always contains all fields. Those fields which are not shown for a report type are empty in the respective line.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>The field names have to be unique because of the import and export &#8211; irrespective of the report types.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Modifications of\u00a0custom fields possibly lead to changes of the import and export columns.
